I almost never paint from my mind, but painting water helps regulate and relax me. I began this painting one afternoon in the interest of exploring big storm clouds juxtaposed against calm waters. It represents those times where everything is alright, but we feel unsettled, like we aren't sure what's on the horizon. Painting this helped me escape.
